Monique & I drove up to Niagara Falls to spend a couple days. Her sister Dana & her family joined us, and we had a blast being all touristy. We stayed in a hotel on the Canadian side of the falls, with a view (if you leaned out and squinted) of the falls.

Day1. We arrived fairly early, and hooked up with Dana & the kids. They had arrived earlier, but were switching hotels, so Monique & I headed over to the Hard Rock Cafe for lunch. Afterwards, we all got together and took a ride on the 'Maid of the Mist', to the base of the Horseshoe falls. I'd covered my camera in a ziploc bag to keep it dry, and managed to get some nice pics despite all the water flying around. Monique & I did the 'behind the falls' tour, which was pretty neat, and then we all headed downstream to the rapids below the falls. Afterwards, we visited the Ripley's museum, and watched fireworks and watched the colored falls lighting in the evening.

Day2. Another full and fun day, we went to the butterfly conservatory, and gardens, which suprisingly, didn't suck. Not near as bad as I thought it would, anyway. Pretty things to take pictures of. We rode the exterior elevator to the top of Skylon Tower, which gave a neat view of the area, and did a little shopping before dinner at Planet Hollywood, which did suck. Bad food and worse service.

Day3. After a mostly rainy and gloomy day, good weather returned for our last day in the area. We spent some more time just walking and enjoying the falls, before heading back to the States. We stopped on the american side of the falls for lunch and more pictures, before driving home.
